A little butterfly landed on Chai's hand, and I took some pictures that I thought were just too cute not to share. Chai is one of the few true orphans at Wat Opot, as in he has absolutely no family- no mother that can't care for him, no grandmother or aunt that visits, no brother or sister off living somewhere else. He's a pretty quiet kid, but he has a smile that says it all.
The butterfly stayed for awhile, maybe 10 minutes. Chai just examined it and protected it until it finally flew away. It was such a sweet moment and I'm glad to have captured it :)
